The holiday residence is located in a quiet area at the outskirts of the center of Salir do Porto. From the building you have a view on the bay. In the city center of Salir do Porto you can find some restaurants, cafes and shops. The residence is located on a small domain with three buildings, each of which have their own private area. You can reach the beach after a 15 minute walk from the residence (1km). At this beach you can find the highest dune of Portugal, as well as the bay where the river 'Rio da Tornada' flows into. This is an ideal spot to enjoy a day at the (supervised) beach: roll down the dune, enjoy yourself in the shallow waters, in short everything you need to have a great time. You can park your car for free at a parking lot next to the beach. From there you can find a footpath connecting to the other side of the bay of São Martinho do Porto (makes for a 15 minute walk). Here you can find an avenue with restaurants, shops, ice cream parlors, ... .

The bay is isolated from the Atlantic Ocean by two mountains and rock formations. The bay and Ocean are connected by a single narrow passage. Because of this, the wave strokes here are much more calm and appropriate for children than other beaches nearby. During summer there is a multitude of activities to enjoy at the beach.
